Full Moon Paddle - June 27
Join our guide for an unforgettable night on the water as we launch into the serene waters of Lake Ballard, bathed in the glow of a full moon. Learn about the wildlife that wakes up when the sun goes down, or enjoy a peaceful solo paddle. This is your chance to see the Preserve in a whole new light.
Pricing is PER PERSON for this event. (See details below.) Individual children between the ages of 3 – 17 must book with a parent/guardian. Smaller children will be placed in the front seat of a double kayak with a parent/guardian. Everyone is required to wear a provided life jacket.
What to bring:
- A strap to hold on your glasses or sunglasses
- Water Shoes (sandals, aqua socks, old tennis shoes, etc. Your feet will get wet!)
- Appropriate clothing (You will get wet!)
- Towels to dry off
Event Timeline:
- Gates will open 15 minutes prior to event start time
- Check-in and sign waivers
- Walk about a half-mile to kayak area
- Safety check, life jacket fittings, and kayak launch
- Leave dock, paddle starts
Your electronic devices are your responsibility. Devices could become wet or lost if taken on the water.
All experience levels are welcome. Guides will provide basic paddling and safety instructions before getting on the water.

- Standard tickets: $40
- Standard tickets, Bring Your Own Kayak: $35
- HCWF Member tickets: $30
- HCWF Member tickets, Bring Your Own Kayak: $25
In case of inclement weather, this event will be rescheduled.
*Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event will not be refunded or credited towards another event. I understand that I am holding a spot so reservations for this event are limited and cannot be refunded if canceled within 24 hours of the event.
