Clean the Bay Day 2025 - June 7

Cleaning the Bay is just the start! There’s a way you can help monitor your local waterways and make a bay wide impact with the Chesapeake Water Watch! Join this training hosted by Smithsonian Environmental Research Center’s Ray Terracina as she shares how your data can contribute to NASA funded research and water quality monitoring near you.

In this training, you will learn how you can use HydroColor, a free smart phone app, to measure turbidity and how to upload your data to the project’s open access database, FieldScope. All you need to bring is a smartphone and your passion for the Bay!

This event does not require registration and is open to all ages.

Occurs on June 7 at 10:00AM
