Get up close with Virginia's nocturnal pollinators! Join us for an exclusive evening exploring the world of moths, co-led by Hampton University's Dr. Shawn Dash and graduate lepidopteran researcher Kiera Ward.
 
We will kick off the night with a brief, engaging presentation into moth biology, behavior, and their role in our ecosystem. Afterwards, we will head outdoors as darkness falls to witness local moth species up close, using specialized UV and mercury vapor light stations to attract them to us.
