The early bird might get the worm but the early paddler gets the bird! Come take a tranquil guided kayak tour of Hoffler Creek before the preserve is open to the public. Observe the stunning views of our local waterway and wildlife as the sun rises above the trees!


We have 7 single and 4 tandem kayaks left for this event. We will keep this count updated as tickets sell. Pricing is PER SEAT/PERSON for this event.


Individual children between the ages of 3 – 17 must book with a parent/guardian. Smaller children will be placed in the front seat of a double kayak with a paren/guardian.


EVERYONE is required to wear a life jacket.


Things to bring:

- Water Shoes (sandals, aqua socks, old tennis shoes etc your feet will get wet)

- A strap to hold on your glasses or sunglasses

- Appropriate clothing, YOU WILL GET WET

- Towels to dry off


What to expect:

-Check in and sign waivers @ 7:15am

-Walk to kayak area @ 7:30am

-Safety check, life jacket fittings and kayak launch 7:45am

-Leave dock, paddle starts @ 8:00am


Your electronic devices are your responsibility. Devices could become wet or lost. We have a locker available for valuables.


Kayak preference must be requested at the time of purchase, but is not guaranteed.


No experience is needed. If you are new to kayaking or nervous a tandem kayak is recommended as they are more stable and easier to paddle with two people.
