We'll start our tour at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, June 1st, to enjoy the sunset and then the flashing display put on by the Lampyridae - which you probably know better as the firefly or lightning bug! Tag a long with a Hoffler Creek guide to learn more about these fascinating beetles and enjoy the show. We'll return to our learning center afterwards to roast some s'mores.
Participants should plan to walk over 1 mile. Weather appropriate clothing including sturdy shoes are a must. Cost: $5/person (free for HCWPF members). Participation is limited and advanced registration can be done here.
