Join Ken Knight and Mike Brown from the Hampton Roads Digital Shutterbug club (hrdshutterbugclub.org) for a day long photography workshop.
Ken Knight, educator and president of the HRDSC Board of Directors, will lead a segment called "Panorama Photography: Capturing the Big Picture in Nature." He says "In this workshop you will learn about and apply the thirteen tips, tricks and techniques used by the professional photographer to capture exceptional land and seascape images."
Mike Brown, avid HRDSC member, will lead you to discover "Macrophotography: Nature Up Close and Personal." In this section of the workshop you will discover how to capture the small parts of nature: that insect, or beautiful flower. Mike says "Macro, or close up photography opens a whole new world to inquisitive people. By closely examining nature, or almost anything else, using macro photography techniques, you realize there is much more to see in life."
No photography experience is necessary. All you need is some curiosity and love of nature. You do need to bring, however, a fully adjustable digital camera and tri-pod. This workshop is not appropriate for non-adjustable point and shoot cameras.
This is an all day workshop, so bring lunch! Drinks will be provided by Hoffler Creek Wildlife Foundation.Price: $60 for non-members, $30 for members.
