Big Changes Ahead
Look What's Coming to HCWP

For
the first time in 10 years, HCWF now has enough funds in hand to build a
permanent building at the preserve. With money provided primarily by the state, HCWF’s Board of Directors
has begun the construction process that should end with a 980 sq. ft. building
by spring. The building will serve as
the foundation’s office and the temporary welcome station for visitors.Once the staff moves in, the gates will be
open to the public every day!
The
small structure represents a new strategy for development of the Nature Center
at Hoffler Creek. HCWF plans to divide the project into three construction
phases.Phase I, the administration
building, is already underway.Funding
is being sought for Phase II, public rest rooms near the pavilion.Phase III, the visitor information and
education center, will complete the project.
